SCARY LARRY MEETS DINGO
Scary Larry is back visiting Castle Vlad with a new episode of bad jokes and punishing puns. In this episode we get to meet Dingo the Werewolf!
You might be scratching your head wondering what's up with SL's new hairdo. Apparently he's dealing with a Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde problem and was in between transformations. In his Hyde persona, a much scarier Scary Larry will be appearing live with his band The Empty Graves during a Halloween bash at Lindberg's located in Springfield, Missouri on October 29th! THE BALLAD OF VLAD THE IMPALER
Here at the Mayor’s office, we’ve been having fun listening to an original new song made special for Weird Hollow’s favorite adopted son, Vlad! Heck, it’s so good we hooked it up to the town’s emergency warning speakers and have been blaring it across town, nonstop all day.
Vlad’s been absent since Halloween as he went back to the old country for a few months of impaling and warmongering. When I gave old Vlad a ring and played this new song for him over the phone, he almost spit out his steak tartare! He loved it!
Here it is - the soon to be new hit from Vlad fan Bettie Blackchurch with her bandmates Veebee Lernin on Guitar, Cheezmo Fistact on Drums and backing vocals by Crankky Frankky!
Thanks Bettie for sending in the fab Vlad tune! Oh and by the way, Bettie, Vlad crossed your name off the infidel list, so your safe if you ever go trick or treating at Vlad’s castle. Way to go!

SCARY LARRY SHARES HIS 1972 8MM DRACULA FILM
Again, Scary Larry presents us with another treat from his vault of goodies. First we visited the late 1980's with his Real Ghostbusters home video and now he takes us back to the early 1970's with his 8mm home movie, The Night of the Blood of the Revenge When Dracula Struck Back Scary Larry Strikes Back.

The film was made in the summer of 1972 and these “monster kids” ended up on Page 7 of their high school paper. Click on the vintage article below for a closer look.
Originally they recorded dialogue, but unfortunately the audio tape is long lost. Below is the original five page script. Again, click each image for a closer look.
Yes, this proves that once you’re a “monster kid” you’re always a “monster kid.”
