FRANKENSTEIN'S MONSTER LIKES TO WEAR DEVILS TEETH & SCARY NAILS

Probably from the late 1970's is this card of Dr. Frankenstein's best creation sporting some Devils Teeth and some very bloody Scary Nails. The card was missing the Devils Teeth and I removed the Scary Nails so everyone could view the fab Frankie artwork.

MONSTER HEAD RACES III - WIN A BASIL GOGOS SIGNED MUMMY CARD

Welcome to the third annual Monster Head Races! Again, eight famous monster heads have gathered to race a quick 15-second race to find out who is the fastest and ugliest Monster Head.


In a moment you’ll get to pick your favorite scary noodle that you think will win the race tournament. But first, let’s take a look at the prize we’re giving away!

This year you have a chance at winning this -


Any true Famous Monster fan will recognize the Mummy artwork on this 1994 Universal Monsters Illustrated trading card by Topps. The card is illustrated by the great Basil Gogos and was autographed by the master in silver ink. Basil signed this card in 2006 at the San Diego Comic-Con. One lucky person who enters the MHR contest will win this signed trading card. As a special bonus the winner will also receive an autographed 8 X 10 photo of the one and only Vlad!

In the comments section below, enter the name of the Monster Head that you think will win the tournament. Last year Saucer Man won and so he’s back to defend his MHR title! You can leave your entry in the comment section using Blogger, Google or OpenID. If you choose to use the Name or Anonymous way to comment, be sure to add your email address with your selection. You can only enter here at Weird Hollow in this post. Please do not enter your selection at any of the other Neato Coolville sites.

Pick one of these Monster Heads - Mr. Hyde, The Bride, Monster from Outer Space, Morlock, Invisible Man, Dr. Phibes, Ymir or the returning champion - Saucer Man.


You must have your selection posted in the comments section no later than Wednesday, October 6th at 11:59 p.m. Central time to be eligible.

Only one guess per person.

This contest is open to all ages and all countries.

All seven races were filmed a few days ago and no one knows the outcome of any race except for me and Vlad and we’re not telling a soul.

If more than one person picks the winning Monster Head, we’ll throw the names of the people with the winning Monster Head into a cauldron and Vlad will randomly pick a winner. If no one picks the winning Monster Head, then we’ll pick a name from everyone who entered the contest.

The first race will air on Thursday October 7th right here on Weird Hollow and the other races will follow every Thursday and Tuesday.

Profiles in History sold this Revenge of the Creature Gill Man mask in 2009 for $84,000. For some reason unbeknownst to me I wanted to see it spin. Using the auction photos from Profiles in History, I've made this gif as a gift to all you ghouls and gals out there.

Here at the Mayor’s office, we’ve been having fun listening to an original new song made special for Weird Hollow’s favorite adopted son, Vlad! Heck, it’s so good we hooked it up to the town’s emergency warning speakers and have been blaring it across town, nonstop all day.

Vlad’s been absent since Halloween as he went back to the old country for a few months of impaling and warmongering. When I gave old Vlad a ring and played this new song for him over the phone, he almost spit out his steak tartare! He loved it!

Here it is - the soon to be new hit from Vlad fan Bettie Blackchurch with her bandmates Veebee Lernin on Guitar, Cheezmo Fistact on Drums and backing vocals by Crankky Frankky!
