GEORGIA BIGFOOT A BIG OL' FAKE

Looks like the Georgia Bigfoot was a hoax. Really, did anyone actually believe those guys? I guess CNN did since they gave “breaking news” time to the hoaxers press conference. I watched it live on Headline News and was laughing hysterically as they tried to dupe the world of their amazing find. Of course I wanted to believe - especially the seven-year old inside of me, the one that loved watching all those old shows in the 70's about Bigfoot.

It was revealed that it was just another greedy hoax created by men who were hoping for fame and fortune from a rubber suit. Yes, that’s right - their bigfoot in the fridge was just a big hairy rubber suit that anyone can order. Order your very own for Halloween or for a hoax. Just be careful not to get shot!

If Bigfoot really exists - I bet he’s laughing large at this latest hoax. He’s probably enjoying a cold Schlitz inside a trailer owned by a woman named Lulu just laughing his fur off!

FANTASY FOOTBALL

Rah, rah, rah. Give me a Z-O-M-B-I-E. Rah, rah, rah. Give me an A-M-A-R-D-A What’s that spell? ZOMBIE ARMADA. Who’s going to win? ZOMBIE ARMADA. Go team go!!!

The Zombie Armada is the name of my fantasy football team and this year I’m hoping that my undead team will take me all the way to the super bowl. I’m in a twelve-team league and my number one zombie player is Tony Romo of the Dallas Cowboys. I’ve always been a Steelers fan, but this year I’ll need to root for the Cowboys or at least for Romo. Now if I can just keep my team from eating the brains of the other team. What is it with Zombies and brains?

TEENS DIG MONSTERS

Hey you hepcat monster fans, check out this January, 1959 issue of Teen Magazine! The photo is of Duncan “Dean” Parkin as the cyclops from the 1957 movie The Cyclops.

Dean is sporting a snazzy giant snake neck tie. This photo created a snake neck tie fad with teenagers in the spring of 1959. Like most fads, it faded out after a few strangulations!

The one page article is about Ralph Helfer, the animal trainer that worked on the film.

MONSTERS LOVE ORANGE SHASTA

I didn't know that Dr. Frankenstein named the monster after his faithful assistant Igor.
