HAPPY VLADENTINE'S DAY!

Here at Weird Hollow we're happy to present this very rare Vlad school Valentine from 1975.  We're amazed that this showed up in a child's scrapbook since the original boxes of Castle Vlad Valentines were quickly recalled and destroyed back in 1975.  Only a few boxes actually made it into stores before public outcry. 

We're not sure what the Sweetheart Breakfast was, but we're thankful this unknown scrapbook making kid wasn't offended and preserved this rare card for Vlad fans to enjoy today.

Apparently in 1975 kids just weren't ready for Valentine cards with death and destruction mixed with happy hearts and sugary slogans!  Hopefully in the future more Vlad cards will surface, but until then enjoy this one and only card.

All the ghoulies here at Weird Hollow would like to wish all the X-Mas creeps good luck and a jolly good time for the first Creepmas!   Unwrap some scary fear-cheer by visiting the official Creepmas homepage for a list of participating blogs.

MHR IV CHAMPIONSHIP ROUND RACE 7: MEDUSA VS. THE PHANTOM OF THE OPERA

It's a monstrous battle to the finish line to find out who will be the 2011 Monster Head Races champion! Will it be Medusa? Will it be The Phantom of the Opera? Who will win? Also, who will win the fantastic signed book, Mail-Order Mysteries: Real Stuff from Old Comic Book Ads! by Kirk Demarais. The people who picked the winning monster head will be entered into a drawing for this must have book!

In the Phantom of the Opera's corner we have kungfubonanza, Mother Firefly and Spookworks. Only three people picked the Phantom. Poor Phantom. First, he only gets a few fans and then he's picked on by Vlad in all the races. Maybe he can overcome it all and win the race.

In Medusa's corner and hopefully not turned to stone are Jack, Shawn Robare, Richard, John Rozum and pensive.
